James Reid and Liza Soberano attended the first annual Gold Gala in Manila, Philippines — Careless Music CEO James Reid revealed that Liza Soberano chose to leave the talent agency. According to ABS-CBN News, James stated that Liza left management due to “career paths” that diverged. “Decision, niya.” All of the contracts and agreements I have with my artists include a termination clause for convenience. You are free to leave as long as I agree, and I do.” James said.
“We decided to issue a statement because there were many rumors about Careless. So we decided to release the statement just to confirm it and avoid any confusion,” he said.

James stated that Careless Music focuses on careers in the Philippines, whereas Liza desires a Hollywood career.
“We have different, I suppose, career paths. She’s more focused on her career in the United States and her move to Hollywood. “And we’re more focused on the Philippines,” he said.
“Our primary focus is in the Philippines…” I did, however, assist her greatly with the initial meetings with her co-management in the United States, including the first film. “I introduced the director, but everything after that was really her,” he explained.
