MANILA, Philippines – Julia Montes described “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta as a generous actress.
Julia said she loves working with Sharon during the media conference for the Amazon Prime Video series Saving Grace.
“When I’m in a scene with Megastar, I’m overwhelmed with emotion both in front of and behind the camera. He’s so generous as a person and as an actress, so I always feel so blessed to have him in the cast. That’s what all generous people are like,” she said.
“I didn’t have a hard time with Miss Megastar because as soon as I looked into her eyes, the emotions flooded me. And if you watch this story, you’ll see why I say she’s so generous because she got to a point where I didn’t even have to push myself,” Julia said.
“Just look at me, I’m gonna cry. That’s me.” “So I’m fortunate,” added child star actress Thea Grace.
Jenica Garcia and Christian Bibles have been cast as Grace’s abusive parents.
“Because for me, playing the role of Anna healed something in me that I thought was gone, and that I was going to be OK. And here I am, the real-life Julia or Marla (Schnitka) being stronger,” Julia said.
“Maybe this is going to be a journey for all of us, because being a child abuse survivor or going through this situation is a big part of it because no one, no one, is going to listen to you, believe you, help you. Or even just asking, ‘Are you OK?’ can be a big help for that person.” “Just be nice,” Julia concluded.
